We believe music is the great communicator, the most visceral artistic form of expression. Let’s face it… music is pretty rad. A musician’s ability to master their craft in front of an audience is the key to longevity in the ever-changing music business landscape. We feel it’s important to allow musicians to find their own voice and share it with the world through a communal live experience. We encourage musicians to take control of their own artistic expression in all aspects of the music business today.
About Scott Ellis:
Scott has been immersed in the music scene since he was a teenager growing up in Orange County, CA. His first touring gig as a drummer began in 1996 and has since recorded and toured with bands including The Start, Mellowdrone, She Wants Revenge, and Fitz & The Tantrums. He has traveled the world playing everything from small clubs to national festivals like Coachella, Lollapalooza, KROQ Weenie Roast, and SXSW alongside influential bands such as Depeche Mode, The Cure, Johnny Marr & The Healers, Psychedelic Furs, and Placebo. In addition to his drumming and all-natural suave style, he has tour managed She Wants Revenge, Mellowdrone, and Mumiy Troll (Russia) and has production experience with musical luminaries Beck and Elvis Costello.
About Jesse Nicita:
Jesse, an LA native, grew up obsessed with Motley Crue and Guns N Roses. Once he realized he couldn’t play drums upside down like Tommy Lee, he looked towards the horizon for other adventures. His first foray in the music business was working production for the Vans Warped Tour in ’99. He worked briefly at Side One Dummy Records before transitioning to management at Andy Gould Management, later joining The Firm, working with bands such as Rob Zombie, Linkin Park, and The Start. After a return to school, earning his bachelors degree in Communications from USC, he moved to New York where he joined Creative Artists Agency, working directly with major sports brands such as the New York Yankees, Chelsea FC, AC Milan and Inter Milan FC. Deciding to move back to SoCal in late 2009, Jesse returned to the road as tour merchandise manager for American Idol season 8 winner Kris Allen.
